TikTok to be banned on UK government phone
Popular Chinese social media app, TikTok will be banned on phones and others devices used by government ministers and civil servants on security grounds.
Cabinet Office Minister, Oliver Dowden is set to make a statement to the members of parliament.
According to the BBC, the Security Minister Tom Tugendhat requested the National Cyber Security Centre to look into the matter, though no official statement has bee made.
TikTok has continued to deny allegations that it gives users data to the Chinese government.
