Monarch seeks support from Islamic scholars

The Ohimege Igu of Koton-Karfe, Alhaji Abdullrazaq Sani Isakoto wants notable Islamic leaders and organizations in the country to extend foreign scholarship programs for scholars in his domain to scale up their knowledge to impact more on society more.
Alhaji Abdullrazaq stated this in Koton-Karfe, Kogi State during his 9th Maulud celebration being organized to commemorate the birth of Prophet Mohammed.
Alhaji Abdullrazaq who is the chairman Kogi/Lokoja Area traditional council stressed the need for parents to prioritize in the acquisition of Islamic and conventional knowledge to enable them to understand the true essence of life and peaceful coexistence.
The Chairman of the occasion and community leader, Alhaji Hassan Shuaibu Ohimozi while noting the commitment of the Royal father to the promotion of religious activities in Egbira Land, promised his continuous support towards the unity and development of the area.
The Chairman organising committee, Ustaz Yaqoob Dawood called on religious leaders in the country to join hands with the traditional ruler to engender lasting peace and development.
