Manssour Mussallam arrives Nigeria – FRCN HQ
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Educational Cooperation, Manssour Bin Mussallam arrives in Nigeria on Wednesday on a three day official visit.
The visit to Nigeria, a founding member-state of the Organisation, will focus on identification within the framework of the Strategic Plan, and the Common Programme of Member-States, areas in which the organisation may support the Federal Ministry of Education as it embarks on implementing the National Language Policy.
A statement by the organisation’s Under-secretary-General for Public Relations and Engagement, Julius Mucunguzi, said Bin Mussallam will hold meetings with the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu and a number of other senior Government officials.
He will also visit the University of Abuja, a Special Needs Education school in Kuje, and the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council, it said.
