
Katsina rally: Obi vows to fight poverty
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has promised to open borders and fight poverty in Nigeria, if elected president in the forthcoming elections.
Speaking at the Labour Party Presidential campaign rally in Katsina, Mr. Obi observe that insecurity and bad governance had caused extreme hardship and poverty in the country.
Mr. Obi said his party aspires to build a new Nigeria by boosting the country’s social and economic standing and giving am opportunity for the youths.
He also promised to open the country’s borders to allow free international trade between Nigeria and her neighbours which will also empower border communities.
