IPAC dissolves Rivers Chapter – FRCN HQ
The General Assembly of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has ratified the immediate dissolution of the River State Chapter of the council for gross misconduct and flagrant violation of the provisions of the 2021 revised code of conduct.
A statement signed by the IPAC National Secretary, Alhaji Yusuf Dantalle says the dissolution was due to the fact that Rivers State IPAC executives endorsed the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP .
Alhaji Dantalle says that IPAC was saddled with the mandate of promoting and defending the interests of all registered political parties in the country hence should be neutral and impartial.
It also directs all political parties in Rivers State whose party officials were found culpable to take disciplinary actions in accordance with their respective party constitutions.
IPAC calls on the residents of Rivers State to come out enmasse and vote for their preferred candidates on the 18th of this month during the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections.
