
FIFA removes Indonesia as host of FIFA U-20 World Cup
The football governing body, FIFA has changed its plans to host the U-20 World cup in Indonesia.
The Football Association of Indonesia and FIFA President, Gianni Infantino in a meeting on Wednesday the decision was occasioned by the current misfortune in Indonesia.
FIFA said it would decide if the Indonesia Football Association will be sanctioned.
According to the global soccer body, the new host will be decided as soon as possible but the dates of the tournament remain unchanged.
Despite the decision, FIFA announced that it will still be in contact with the Indonesia Football Association to help solve the issue on the ground and help transform Indonesia Football.
Both FIFA President and the PSSI President are expected to meet again.
