
Buhari urged to sign Peace Corps Bill before leaving office

The Commandant General, National Unity and Peace Corps, Dr Chinedu Nneji has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the Nigeria Peace Corps Bill into law before leaving the office.
Dr Nneji made the appeal in Abuja while briefing newsmen.
Dr. Nneji who said the Bill which was harmonized by the National Assembly had inputs from National Unity and Peace Corps as well as Peace Corps of Nigeria would create jobs and assist in promoting peace and Unity in the country.
“The reason for the harmonisation was to adopt one vision of the different bills which will represent the two organisations before the law.”
Dr Nneji said the Bill would give opportunity to the teeming Youths to be gainfully employed.
